I’m pretty sure the sun on your face and the wind in your hair is totally the right way to do your wedding day. just saying.
it’s been a long month. and we’ve filled it with travel, beautiful weddings, family time, and time for us. you see, our team went back from three to two. and while the addition was easy, the loss of izzy was rough and a complete shock. to our first little fur baby – you were the sweetest. we miss you so!
have I mentioned before how much I love convocation? finishing Fine Arts degree (which I did only last year – what?) is quite the ordeal. first, there’s the 4th year show. the show you think about since year one. and again in year two, and year three. of course – whilst crapping your pants, thinking repeatedly what am I ever going to do that’s good enough to put out there and show to the public with my name in its proximity? truth. and then there’s convocation. which truthfully turns into more of a recruitment speech than an au revoir, but who cares because there’s a sea of your classmates surrounding you and the excitement is contagious. it’s totally a rite of passage. (even though its still a tad bit sad the people you were weird with and made weird art with for years are going to disperse again and you’ll only see them in Facebook statuses from here on out.) I love it. and I love photographing it. |
