“Come From Away” – NY Times.

Check the photo byline – I had the best experience shooting for the NY Times recently! On the weekend of October 28th/29th, I headed to Gander to take in the events surrounding the play

Humber Valley Family Shoot.

the most energetic, happiest boys and my favorite type of shoot – everyone being their (wild) selves, and me just taking in the madness of it all… trying to do their sweet personalities

Family + Thoughts.

I’ve been super lucky to have grown up at a cabin. Berry picking, swimming, water skiing, boating, skidooing, crafting, eating, nightly fires… Whatever we could get into, we did. Best of

PAMELA + MATT; WINTER WEDDING.

winter weddings are my jam, so I loved this day. a small intimate ceremony, a beautifully styled bride and groom, and a gorgeous reception set at madisons in steady brook. these guys have style.

FOGGY SUMMER SUNRISE.

no matter the weather, newfoundland is beautiful.

J+A double exposure.

you know you’ve got a golden couple when they plan their entire day around photos. that’s when the magic goes down.

BELISLE-AUCOIN WEDDING PREVIEW.

we love to keep things natural, but that doesn’t mean we don’t like to show off and utilize some smoke every now and then too… dennis + mary 2015

DAY-RUMBOLT WEDDING PREVIEW.

I kissed the shoes I was wearing this day goodbye… and I’d do it again in a heartbeat. For more of mine & Dru’s wedding work, head over to Cunning & Kennedy!

erika & chris: maternity shoot preview.

I LOVE that it’s beautiful out again. it’s been such a long winter – one of those where you don’t realize how sedentary you’ve been until you start venturing outside

krista + gerard; anniversary shoot.

krista and gerard are the bomb. dru and I just put up the full anniversary shoot over on our cunning & kennedy blog, which you can check out here. hope you like!

finn friday (#3)

how is january over already? it blows my mind. finn also grew another 5lbs while we slept. this also blows my mind.

jennifer & andrew; maternity.

this is far from the first time I’ve met this couple. in fact – I did their engagement shoot years ago, then their wedding, and now they’re expecting! there’s also something

lavers-white; wedding preview.

finn friday (#2)

sometimes finn friday is easy. sometimes finn friday is hard.

finn friday (#1)

it’s a slow day around these parts. it’s a day off from the gym, it’s a day to edit edit and then edit some more on a beautiful wedding from november which is nearly finished, and

introducing… finn friday.

GUYS. it’s 2015 – I don’t know how that happened. but what I do know is I’m excited for it. we have a europe trip in the fall we’re slowly starting to plan, weddings and

SPCA Calendar 2015.

this project was pretty time consuming – and I loved every minute. when the Bay of Islands SPCA here in Corner Brook started tossing around the idea of putting out a calendar containing men of

sarah mclachlan

what a breath of fresh air last weekend was. I have been waiting YEARS to see Sarah McLachlan – no exaggeration – and the concert she played here in Corner Brook last weekend as a part of

meghan + mitchell; engagement shoot.

meghan & mitchell – your engagement shoot was such a laugh. you two are awesome. i’ve actually photographed meghan before, so I at least half knew

jodi + kent; anniversary shoot.

a breath of fresh air one-year-anniversary shoot. these two were straight up happy – and it was wonderful.

thankful.

I’m thankful for working from home – and thankful for working outside in areas far beyond of my comfort zone that’s slowly turning me into the kind of photographer I want to be.

twisted sunrise.

what a month this has been. aside from the regular wedding madness, we’ve let go of our wonderful basement apartment in pursuit of a house. we’ve welcomed a new fur-friend named Finn into our home,

ayers-price; wedding preview.

I’m pretty sure the sun on your face and the wind in your hair is totally the right way to do your wedding day. just saying.

burgeo travels.

it’s been a long month. and we’ve filled it with travel, beautiful weddings, family time, and time for us. you see, our team went back from three to two. and while the addition was

clarke wedding; humber valley.

a first look, a wedding, a helicopter ride, and a reception. mel & andrew’s wedding was quite the day!

bay of islands sunset.

curling is where I grew up – chillin out, maxin, relaxin all cool (but never shooting any b-ball outside of the school.) … can you tell that fresh prince just got added to netflix?

jordan & amy; tablelands elopement.

these two are great friends friends of ours, so when they told us they were thinking of eloping dru and I were all hands/feet/eyeballs in. their ceremony was one of the most personal, thoughtful
