From a wonderful shoot with the Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, Dwight Ball, his lovely wife Sharon, and their first grandchild.
Check the photo byline – I had the best experience shooting for the NY Times recently! On the weekend of October 28th/29th, I headed to Gander to take in the events surrounding the play
the most energetic, happiest boys and my favorite type of shoot – everyone being their (wild) selves, and me just taking in the madness of it all… trying to do their sweet personalities
I’ve been super lucky to have grown up at a cabin.
Berry picking, swimming, water skiing, boating, skidooing, crafting, eating, nightly fires… Whatever we could get into, we did. Best of
cathedral veils… I’m a fan.
we have a preview for kelly + colin’s day up on Cunning & Kennedy, check it out!
we’ve been living it up these past few months. shooting a few big jobs (the special olympics, our local university, etc.) but mostly… eating and traveling and riding roller coasters and
textures; gros morne, newfoundland.
winter weddings are my jam, so I loved this day. a small intimate ceremony, a beautifully styled bride and groom, and a gorgeous reception set at madisons in steady brook.
these guys have style.
no matter the weather, newfoundland is beautiful.
you know you’ve got a golden couple when they plan their entire day around photos. that’s when the magic goes down.
this day went down as an all-time favorite. for more over on Cunning & Kennedy, click here.
The happiest of birthday’s to two of the sweetest, most adorable twins around.
we love to keep things natural, but that doesn’t mean we don’t like to show off and utilize some smoke every now and then too…

I kissed the shoes I was wearing this day goodbye… and I’d do it again in a heartbeat.

it’s been such a long winter – one of those where you don’t realize how sedentary you’ve been until you start venturing outside
krista and gerard are the bomb. dru and I just put up the full anniversary shoot over on our cunning & kennedy blog, which you can check out here. hope you like!
how is january over already? it blows my mind. finn also grew another 5lbs while we slept. this also blows my mind.
this is far from the first time I’ve met this couple. in fact – I did their engagement shoot years ago, then their wedding, and now they’re expecting! there’s also something
dru’s shot and my shot side by side – can you tell who’s who?
we’re uploading content on cunning + kennedy all winter long, so click HERE to check out the latest wedding
sometimes finn friday is easy. sometimes finn friday is hard.
it’s a slow day around these parts. it’s a day off from the gym, it’s a day to edit edit and then edit some more on a beautiful wedding from november which is nearly finished, and
GUYS. it’s 2015 – I don’t know how that happened. but what I do know is I’m excited for it. we have a europe trip in the fall we’re slowly starting to plan, weddings and
this project was pretty time consuming – and I loved every minute.
when the Bay of Islands SPCA here in Corner Brook started tossing around the idea of putting out a calendar containing men of
what a breath of fresh air last weekend was.
I have been waiting YEARS to see Sarah McLachlan – no exaggeration – and the concert she played here in Corner Brook last weekend as a part of
meghan & mitchell – your engagement shoot was such a laugh. you two are awesome.
i’ve actually photographed meghan before, so I at least half knew
a breath of fresh air one-year-anniversary shoot. these two were straight up happy – and it was wonderful.
I’m thankful for working from home – and thankful for working outside in areas far beyond of my comfort zone that’s slowly turning me into the kind of photographer I want to be.
what a month this has been. aside from the regular wedding madness, we’ve let go of our wonderful basement apartment in pursuit of a house. we’ve welcomed a new fur-friend named Finn into our home,
I’m pretty sure the sun on your face and the wind in your hair is totally the right way to do your wedding day. just saying.
